<p>米切尔.乔基姆是一位知名的生态设计和城市设计的专家。他是<a href="http://www.terrefuge.com/" target="_blank">Terrefuge</a>和<span style="text-decoration: underline;">T</span><a href="http://www.terreform.org/" target="_blank">erreform One</a>的联合创始人。他的项目<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fab_Tree_Hab" target="_blank">Fab Tree Hab</a>曾在知名博物馆<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MoMA" target="_blank">MoMA</a>展出并被广泛地报道，颠覆了大多数人对于建筑的传统印象，并给出了一个天马行空地 城市规划和绿色建筑的解决方案。今天他的演讲讲述的是他在生态建筑领域研究的进展和成果。 </p>

<p>演讲一开始，米切尔.乔基姆就提出: 为什么我们说我们要种房子呢？因为我们可以的。种房子并不是科幻小说中的故事，通过回溯传统和科技实践，米切尔.乔基姆试图证明他的构想和研究并不是天方夜谭。 </p>
<p>首先，米切尔.乔基姆介绍园艺中的编织术，从2500年前开始，人类就学会了通过对植物的人工干预来制造出符合人类期望的植物样式，比如嫁接法可以把不同的物质嫁接在一起，形成一个特殊的整体。而米切尔.乔基姆的研究项目-<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fab_Tree_Hab" target="_blank">Fab Tree Hab</a>的雏形就是对传统编织术的现代演绎，它通过计算机数控（CNC）技术制造了骨架作用的脚手架，并将植物的幼苗编织成特定的符合建筑要求的几何形状，最终达到建筑就是环境，建筑就是景观的要求。 </p>
<p>接着，米切尔.乔基姆阐述了他的伟大构想。想象一下如果我们拥有成千上万的这样的建筑，前期我们只需要花费7-8年时间来培育一个村庄，然后一切就都是绿色的了，自然环境和人类生存空间将融为一体，我们对于城市和乡村的定义也将完全改变，大家都生活在规模大小不同的<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fab_Tree_Hab" target="_blank">Fab Tree Hab</a>里，如同阿凡达中纳美星人一样。</p>
<p>更让人惊奇的是，米切尔.乔基姆不仅仅试图将植物和建筑结合，还尝试了生物肉(体外试管培育)和建筑的结合，他所在的研究团队在Brookly作了一个实验，实验中他们提取了猪的细胞质基质并应用于工业。于是，在成功后，他们开始用试管制造的生物纤维来制作一个肉屋，听起来有点吓人是吧。肉屋的结构都源于生物结构，比如用脂肪多的细胞来做隔热层，用毛质物质来挡风和用括约肌做门窗。事实上，他们已经做出了看起来有点丑的肉屋了,并在布拉格进行了展示。</p>
